Extra information

Extra information

1.     A start pass or license is not required.

2.     Registration for an event is done via www.equicompetition.nl. Riders must register in the system and can also create a practice combination if there is no KNHS number. First, the rider is registered, then the horse, and subsequently the rider must combine with the horse and register for the divisions, clinic, or practice jumping.

Rules regarding registration:

  • There is no limit to the number of horses/ponies per rider. The organization will always ensure enough time is given to switch horses, even if this means the program must temporarily be paused.

  • A horse/pony may compete in a maximum of 2 classes per day.

  • A horse/pony may participate in a different class with different riders.

3.     The horse passport, with an up-to-date vaccination history, must always be present with the horse, and the organization has the right to check it, including chip verification.

4.     Cancellations are possible up to 48 hours before the competition day (08:00 AM), and must be done exclusively via email to hjeholland@gmail.com or the organizing venue/association. After this deadline, the entry fee remains due to the organization.

5.     Start lists and starting times will be published no later than 24 hours before the start of the competition via Equi Competition. If a venue or club other than HJE Europe is organizing an HJEH competition, they are responsible for the start lists. Organizing venues/clubs must provide the start lists to HJE Holland for publication. They are also allowed to publish them on their own websites.

6.     Courses will be announced no later than 1 hour before the start of the class. They will be available from the ring steward, at the secretary’s office, and will be posted near the competition ring.

7.     Walking the course is not allowed. However, the organization may decide to allow participants to inspect the course on horseback at a walk before the class begins.

8.     Each class consists of three rounds, unless stated otherwise: two jumping rounds and one Under Saddle round. The award ceremony will take place immediately after the final round. Riders must line up with their back number visible to the judge. Exception: LeadLine Class, Open Working Hunter, Open Hunter Derby, and the M. Michael Meller International Equitation Medal.

9.     Each round will be ranked from 1st to 6th place, with ribbons awarded. The Champion and Reserve in each class will receive an extra ribbon and an additional prize sponsored by HJEH Sponsors.
